MIWA Lock Co., Ltd. was found in 1945, engaging in building's locks, industrial locks, door closers, security system and relevant machines, door and window metal hardwares and construction metal hardwares. To this stage, its turnover is the biggest in Japan taking more than 50% of market share.

The head-office of MIWA is located at 3-16-12, Shiba, Minato-Ku, Tokyo. By now, MIWA has 4 branches (Kanezawa Branch, Nogoya Branch, Osaka Branch and Kyushu Branch), 6 business offices (Sapollo Office, Sendai Office, Yokohama Office, Hiroshima Office, Takamatsu Office and Okinawa Office), and 6 factories (Isei Factory, Tamashiro Factory, Kawasaki Factory, Door closer Factory, Morioka Factory and Nansei Factory). The total number of employees is around 1600 persons (male, 1000 and female, 600). Described below are highlights of product features:
